John Deere 420 23hp Garden Tractor with bucket, plow, mower, snowblower. 1987 John Deere 420 with a newer/stronger Briggs & Stratton 23hp engine with power steering – fully serviced at Frank Labelles in Ashfield last year and regularly maintained with oil/filter changes every season. Includes the Johnny Bucket Sr loader (with hydraulic lift/dump), 4ft snowblower (with hydraulic lift/chute control), 54″ plow (with hydraulic lift/angle), 60″ mower, rear 3 point with bracket for suitcase weights (suitcase weights not included), plow attachment, and chains. This is a very strong and well built garden tractor – it has been extremely reliable and starts every time – even in winter. I’ve used this to mow 2-3 acres, move soil/compost, plow, and snow blow a 1000′ foot driveway. The recent service at Frank Labelle’s included. New filters (air, oil, fuel). New mower deck blades. Cleaned cooling fins, serviced air cleaner, lubed starter, lubricated control cables, serviced battery and inspected belts, lubed tractor and attachments, inspected transmission, inspected and adjusted brakes, checked tire pressure and mower level. The attachments have some surface rust and other age related wear but all work as they should. The Johnny Bucket Sr bucket attachment is about 3 years old and has the optional tooth bar on the front of the bucket. 1412 hours – only a few hundred hours on the Briggs & Stratton engine.
