Up for sale is a rare, early production Eska Stock #582 John Deere Two-Bottom Plow. This 1/16 scale die-cast implement is a classic of the late 1950s farm toy era. It features functional levers, individual metal coulters, and a rear furrow wheel. This listing includes the original duotone green/yellow illustrated box. Toy (Good/Very Good): The plow is in great shape for its age. The green paint shows only minor play wear and small chips on the high points and hitch. The “John Deere” block-lettering decals are largely intact. All mechanical parts, including the lift lever and wheels, move freely. Box (Acceptable): The original duotone green/yellow illustrated box is complete but shows significant wear. One of the main end flaps is detached (but included), and there is general softening and edge wear. As with the other items in this series, the original Eska-branded packaging is very difficult to find. Model: John Deere Two-Bottom Plow. Material: Heavy Die-Cast Metal / Rubber Tires.

1950s John Deere Eska Tru Scale Carter 1/16 2 Bottom Cylinder Plow w/ Orig Box. Please supersize and examine photos closely above. Both the model and the box are in very nice shape for their age. There are small signs of wear of course, but this would be more accurate to illustrate through pictures than to describe in words. We believe this was made circa 1950s before Carter Tru-Scale took over and started marking the models tru-scale. That means this model must have been manufactured under the brand Eska which was closely associated with ERTL. Of course, this item is not marked with the brand, so only true collectors will be able to determine such obscure details. Please inspect the pictures as closely as possible, as we do not know much about this item besides what has been written here.
