This plow is a “Pony” plow, used in gardens where the family pony or small horse supplied the power. Everything here is original. Manufactured in Moline, Illinois at their Plow – Planter Works on River Drive. Had a popular annual auctions at the Collector’s Center in Moline for many years, where locals and collectors brought their John Deere items. It has been on display at the Visitor’s Center in Moline and now stored in heated basement. The “Pony” walk-behind plow is scare and hard to find…. Especially in this condition.
