The paint is original – no rusts. Why paint a machine as clean as this – no rust or sins to cover up or hide! This Deere is set up to do ball fields. Look at the pics good they best describe this Deere! This is a dependable unit, great running unit, with a strong engine and drive system, no oil leaks. This item is used to groom – rake sand traps and bunkers. This unit could be used to groom – drag baseball infields, tennis courts, beaches, horse pens, etc. Runs great, no leaks, starts 1 st time, no smoke, runs strong, tight. The fiberglass has a some scratches, see pic. This is a real nice clean mechanically sound unit. Parts are still available; you may wish to check the website for more information. This listing is for a used John Deere 1200A sand trap/ Baseball Softball infield rake. This unit was used for years at our local complex and will be replaced by a new unit in the following weeks. The condition of this unit is working as far as starting with a new battery, drive, reverse. The last maintenance on the unit was this month with new oil, brand new battery, new fuel filter and fuel line. The right tire does not hold air for long. The brake and clutch will need adjusting because the clutch will grind when going into gear at times, this maybe due to the brakes not working well. The hour meter might read a little high because there have been many times the key was left on for days and the hour meter runs. I have been overly descriptive in the condition of this unit but if you have more questions please feel free to message.
