John Deere 318 tractor with snow plow, box blade
1983 John Deere 318 for sale. Heavy duty garden tractor with hydrostatic transmission, dual spool hydraulics, power steering, hydraulic deck lift. P218 Onan 2 cylinder horizontal shaft engine with electronic ignition (versus B43G with points). Has suspension flip-up seat from John Deere 425. All hydraulic and oil filters and fluid changed annually with John Deere parts and fluid. New tires front and back 1 year ago. Misc seals and bushings replaced. Front axle has grease fitting added. I bought this 5 years ago, fully disassembled it and fixed anything I found wrong. Engine was not rebuilt. Front hydraulic steering cylinder has slow leak (has since I got it). 46 deck: deck was fully disassembled and professionally sandblasted 3 years ago. Primed with hardener and painted. Deck is off tractor so you can inspect. Has gator mulching blades installed. Sleeve Hitch: Sleeve hitch operates off of rear hydraulic rockshaft. Uses same lower mounts a Ruegg 3 point hitch. Fits all standard sleeve hitch attachments such as plows, yard rake, rear blade, disc harrow, cultivator, box blade, etc…. 56 snow plow: 4 way plow works as it should, only minor surface rust. No issues with hydraulics. Has blade lock for working with dirt/gravel 48 box blade: custom made box blade with scarifiers quickly mounts to sleeve hitch. Great for levelling driveways and spreading gravel and dirt. 46″ Powerflow blower housing: I have a 46″ powerflow blower housing for the deck, but no other parts.
