1915 Paris Texas Lamar County Bank Ledger John Deere Plow Company / Americana
This is one COOL Bank Ledger from around Paris Texas – Starts out around 1915. A year before ” THE GREAT FIRE OF 1916 ” so it is a survivor. Pages were printed in Paris Texas by Bennett Printing Company. The first 2/3 of the ledger are personal accounts surrounding Paris Texas. With a smattering of local businesses. The last 1/3 are companies from around the country including. John Deere, and many other very recognizable companies that are still around today. Hundreds of hand written pages over 100 years old. I didn’t spend long time Googling names. But I found a lot of cool connections to this piece of history. VERY HEAVY – Please look at photographs for condition. The book is weathered on the exterior. But the pages seem to be in very nice condition for their age. The item “1915 Paris Texas Lamar County Bank Ledger John Deere Plow Company / Americana” is in sale since Friday, September 27, 2019.
