John Deere Snow Blade Plow Wings Extensions
A SET (1 left side, 1 right side) of garden tractor plow wings/extensions designed to fit a John Deere 18″ x 54″ blade, but may possibly work on a similar profile blade. They add 12 inches to the overall width of the blade and are angled forward for a ” scoop ” feature. I have used a set on my John Deere 445 for several snow removal jobs and they cut the clean-up time nearly in half. They have thick (1/2), flexible, rubber cutting edges to prevent damage in case of hitting solid obstructions. You will need to drill 5 holes in each end of your blade in order to mount the hardware, which can be removed after use, or left on for instant reattachment of the wings. The wings can be easily removed in case of heavy snow , or pushing dirt. It takes only a minute to attach/detach them once the mounting hardware has been installed.
