Antique Single Wheel Cultivator Plow Garden Tool Early John Deere Style

Offered is an antique single-wheel cultivator / wheel hoe, dating to the late 1800s-early 1900s. This is a heavy, all-steel, human-powered garden and farm implement used for cultivating and weed control before motorized equipment became common. Based on construction details and period-correct hardware, this piece is believed to be an early John Deere-era style cultivator, though no visible brand markings are present on the frame. The blade is stamped and appears original, indicating factory-produced interchangeable parts. This tool retains its original patina, forged steel components, spoked wheel, and adjustable linkage. It makes an excellent decorative display, restoration candidate, or collectible piece of agricultural history. Condition / Flaws (Please Read). Heavy surface rust throughout from age and outdoor storage. No attempt has been made to clean or restore the piece. Pitting and corrosion present, especially on the blade and joints. One joint shows visible wear and corrosion (see close-up photo). Blade is worn and rounded from use. May be missing additional attachments or hardware originally offered. No guarantee of functionality. Full size: see photos for scale.
