Never used front Hitch w/ the bearings for the PTO. This listing is for the hitch LVA22590, bearings installed and the rod pictured LVU13765. Below is information about the front hitches LVA21000 vs. LVA22590 and which 1R or 2R series the fit. Thanks to user on Garden Tractor Talk. NOTE: This listing is only for LVA22590 front hitch. The information below and link above will talk about many interchanges, brackets, hardware etc. Note the notch in the left hand side (looking the brackets from their front side) of the front vertical bracket in the LVA21000 just below of where the number “4” is on the image. The top of the front vertical bracket in the LVA22590 is straight across. Not only are the vertical angles of the brackets that hold the PTO shaft bearings different, the plates are mounted much further forward in one verses the other as well. When not seeing these two brackets together next to one another, Its difficult to distinguish these two from one another. But the notch in the top left of the front vertical plate is a critical identification point when looking at these parts uninstalled. When they are sitting next to one another, you can see the differences in the vertical plate angles, etc, but when looking at them individually. The notch in the top of the LVA21000 is important to note as it’s the only way to distinguish these two brackets. You can use the LVA21000 or the LVA22590 to connect the front hitch to mount and operate a plow on either the 1025r or the Gen 2 2025r tractors. You have to use the correct frame mounting brackets, but you can switch the LVA21000 or the LVA22590 on either the 1025r or the 2025r and mount the front hitch. To use the plow on either tractor. But when you go to connect the front PTO shaft for a snowblower, sweeper, etc… Then the correct bracket must be used or the PTO shaft won’t have clearance and won’t connect physically. How to protect yourself from the wrong parts. When shopping for a used. Front Quick Hitch, Front QH Blade or Front QH mounted blower. Make sure you check your tractors serial number and know what you need to fit your tractor. If the large front bracket (LVA 22590) which holds the PTO shaft under the tractor does NOT have the notch in the front as pointed out above. That bracket will NOT fit on the Gen 2 2025r for connecting the front PTO. The Gen 2 2025r MUST use the LVA21000 bracket. The 1025r, 1023e and 1026r can use either under the tractor bracket AS LONG AS it is paired with the correct mounting brackets (LVU25908 or LVU34571).
