Up for sale is a 1979 John Deere 314 garden tractor. Bought from estate of original owner, refurbished at that time with body panels powder coated. Upgraded to dual front hydraulic circuits, dual rear brakes, headlights and tail lights from a John Deere 317. Kohler 14 HP K-series cast iron single cylinder engine, new tune up. Smokes a little at start up but then clears up (all old Kohler engines do this). Tires are nearly new – no cracks, dry rot, or problems holding air. 48 Mower deck spindles were rebuilt a few years ago, quiet and tight. Mower is level and cuts even. Includes 54 front blade with power up/down and power angle, front and rear hitches, wheel weights, and chains. Includes extra parts, all books, manuals, service records.
